Not so the F385 CIRC-CASE from FREITAG: It's made from old ski boots and can be recycled time and time again. The case is part of a three-piece set with a card holder and practical lanyard.
So you can spot your current and future iPhones® from a distance—even without Face ID—there's the personalized F380 JUSTIN card holder, made from upcycled truck tarps. It attaches to all current and future CIRC-CASES. And for maximum hands-free convenience, just throw on your circular case with the F381 NECK STRAP.
F385 CIRC-CASE
The circular F385 CIRC-CASE is available for a range of iPhone® models. You’ll find our circular cases for the iPhone® 12 to 16 at all FREITAG stores and in our online store—always for the standard version, as well as for Pro models, and in some cases for Pro Max and Plus models. The CIRC-CASE for the iPhone® 11 Pro is only available in the FREITAG online store.
F380 JUSTIN
F380 JUSTIN is the name of the slim card holder made from used truck tarp with the signature FREITAG tear-tab. It can be easily attached to and removed from the CIRC-CASE holder, regardless of the model selected. This means you don't need to go looking for a new one-off when you replace your iPhone®. F380 JUSTIN takes two credit cards and gives your CIRC-CASE its unmistakable, individual look.
F381 NECK STRAP
The practical F381 NECK STRAP frees up your hands as well as your pockets. Thanks to the carrying cord, the CIRC-CASE can be hung comfortably around your neck or over your shoulders. But if you do that, be sure to turn the F380 JUSTIN around so the cards stay where they are. Every NECK STRAP comes with a small, individual piece of tarp that we’ve saved from the trash. Simply insert it into the CIRC-CASE, click in your iPhone®, and you're done.

DISASSEMBLING SKI BOOTS
For our circular smartphone protective cases, worn-out ski boots are collected in Davos by our partner, taken apart and separated from their buckles and other plastic parts.
PROCESSING INTO GRANULATE
The shell components then go to Rapperswil. There, the coarsely shredded plastic is analyzed, sorted by color, and then extruded into granulate.
MOLDING CASES
At a location near Zurich, the granulate is then molded to the body of a current iPhone® model.
BACK TO THE START
Even F385 CIRC-CASEs that are no longer serviceable make it to Davos at some point. There they are taken apart and returned to the R-TPU cycle. You can find out how to return your case here: Take Back.
