Created as an appeal for conscious, sensible consumption in our time, the FREITAG Manifesto is now the guideline by which we think and act.

Working at FREITAG: we foster a values-based culture and actively promote the knowledge and expertise of the F-Crew in the circular economy.

Everything about the many different FREITAG bags and accessories, whether made from used truck tarps, old ski boots, recycled PET bottles or circular materials.

Ever since FREITAG has existed, we’ve been thinking and acting in cycles and working with used or, even better, circular materials.

Our notion of circular design is based on a holistic approach that relates to the longevity of our products and an appreciation of selected materials. 

Together with industry partners, we are developing a circular truck tarp that can be recycled after completing its second life as a FREITAG bag.

F385 CIRC-CASE is a smartphone case made from recycled ski boots that can one day be used to mold a protective case for your next device.

F700 ARROW and F708 FIREBIRD are made from accident-free airbags and used tension belts. In line with a new design approach: «bag follows form».

Our rip-off products stand for traces of torn belts, frayed strips and raw checks. So, here’s to the beauty of the imperfect!

In 2014, after a fruitless search for suitable workwear, we developed F-ABRIC, a clothing line made of natural fibers.
