Tote bags with long handles have always been simple and elegant. However, they can also be quite dangerous – you may have heard the story of a friend that tried to cycle home after a few beers with their tote bag dangling from the handlebars. It’s not a happy ending. But there’s a silver lining to everything and in this case, it’s the fact that accidents and emergencies seem to bring out the best in FREITAG bag inventors.
