RENT A BIKE
At the FREITAG stores in Zurich and Kyoto you can rent a cargo bike if you need urban transportation at a reasonable price. And in Amsterdam you can get a City Cruiser for a whole day for free.

STACKED HIGH AND RUSTY: THE CONTAINER TOWER TURNS 20
It’s not just used truck tarps that get a second life at FREITAG. In 2006, we stacked up a bunch of decommissioned shipping containers to create Zurich's smallest high-rise. Since then, the rust-streaked tower has been not just a freight port for one-offs, but a sightseeing secret that long since stopped being secret, a neighborhood landmark and a symbol of FREITAG's philosophy.
On September 4 and 5, FREITAG is celebrating 20 years of its flagship store. On both days, you can head up to the tower's upper floors to explore our A SECOND LIFE exhibition on the history of FREITAG and its rusty landmark. Apart from that, two exclusive limited-edition accessories –– and, of course, a whole lot of one-offs –– will be waiting for you.
From 6 on Friday night, there'll be music from Palmsi (DJ set), Skor (DJ set) and a surprise live act, plus a screen-printed bike, drinks, pizza and plenty more. REPAIR STATION
A TAKEAWAY FOR REPAIRS
With the opening of the new Repair Kiosk in the former hat shop at Geroldstrasse 17, right next to the Flagship Store, FREITAG is making its range of services accessible to a wider audience.
At the service window of the compact, roughly 10m2 repair station, customers can pick their desired repair job from a menu—almost like at a takeaway. They can collect their fixed bags at the same window, and in some cases even the same day, thanks to new express options.
In line with the FREITAG philosophy, the repair kiosk also incorporates reused materials: the awning is made from a circular test tarp, and the signage reuses lettering and wayfinders from the FREITAG factory in Zurich Oerlikon.

The Repair Station has the same opening hours as the FREITAG Flagship Store, but is closed on Mondays.
