Unpick the belt stitching behind the strap with nail scissors.
Remove the belt from the bag on the same side of the bag: Unpick the cross-stitching with nail scissors from the outer side of the bag.
Remove the faulty plastic strap and thread in the new folding buckle.
Sew the belt on to the bag using cross-stitch.
Resew the belt behind the strap.
Belt up and you’re done!

Unpick the cross-stitching on the same side of the bag with nail scissors from the outer side of the bag.
Remove faulty plastic folding strap and thread in new buckle.
Resew the belt to the bag using cross-stitch.
Stitch the belt thread underneath the strap.
