Registering your FREITAG products is like wearing a helmet: it's sensible. On the one hand, you can keep track of all the items you own and always have all your data to hand. And that's important if, for example, you need a repair or want to register for S.W.A.P., our bag exchange platform.
Once you've registered, you can safely dispose of your purchase receipts. If you're also a member of the F-ederation or register for it, we'll extend the warranty on your product by one year to three years. So, it pays to be sensible.

Registration is straightforward:
- Upload a picture of your FREITAG product and enter the serial number. You can find it on your bag's hang tag or the receipt.
- Only via receipt: enter the date of purchase.
- Only via receipt: select your bag model.

Which FREITAG products can I register?
In principle, you can register any FREITAG product using the receipt. Some one-off bags also have a serial number, making it even easier to identify the product.

You'll find the serial number on the hang tag, bag tag, or receipt. Certain products do not have a serial number.

Registering your product means you can say goodbye to the physical receipt. You have a warranty on your FREITAG product for the first two years after purchase. If you're also a member of the F-ederation, it increases to three years.
If, at some point, you're no longer quite so much in love with one of your bags as you are today, you can swap it for another used product on our S.W.A.P. bag exchange platform.

We want to ensure that no matter how much you use your product, it has a long, useful life. That's why we repair quality defects free of charge during the two-year warranty period. Regular wear and tear and defects the owner causes are not included but can still be repaired (for a fee).

Yes. Our rarities are lower priced and therefore not covered by the warranty. Nor does the warranty apply to second-hand products. However, you can still register these products.

All products purchased in the online store since mid-July 2024 are automatically registered and visible in your FREITAG account. Generally speaking, products purchased before July 2024 in the online store or physical stores must be entered and registered manually.

Unfortunately, you can't register a product without a serial number and receipt at the moment. But we're working on making product registration possible for such cases in the future.
